Secret Weapon Creative Brand Design Brisbane Australia

noun / a figurative phrase referring to a weapon or unexpected design of any kind that a person uses suddenly to surprise their opponent.

I'm Bree, a brand designer with 20+ years of experience and a soft spot for seeing my clients thrive.

I'm not the designer you hire once and forget. I'm the one you call before your next launch, your next pivot, your next big idea - because I've been in your corner since the first one.

NO RE-EXPLAINING YOUR BRAND EVERY PROJECT. NO CHASING, NO HAND-HOLDING, NO CROSSED FINGERS WHEN THE FILES COME BACK.

IMAGINE INSTEAD:

  • A designer who knows your brand as well as you do - and protects it like her own.

  • Someone who listens to your ideas, asks the questions you hadn't thought of and gives you honest advice when there's a better way.

  • Briefs that come back better than you imagined, because the thinking behind them matters just as much as how they look.

  • Someone your whole team trusts, who feels less like a supplier and more like part of it.

That's what working with me looks like.

For over 20 years, businesses, schools and marketing teams have kept me on speed dial - not because they have to, but because good design partners are hard to find, and even harder to let go.

HI, I'M BREE

DESIGNER. CREATIVE THINKER. VERY MUCH HUMAN.

I've been designing professionally for more than two decades - long enough to know that experience isn't about having all the answers.

It's about knowing which questions to ask.

I listen closely. I challenge ideas when they need challenging. I obsess over typography, hierarchy and the tiny details most people will never consciously notice but will absolutely feel... and I keep pushing until everything clicks.

Sometimes that's instinct - but it's instinct built from years of designing, learning, getting things wrong, getting things right and knowing the difference.

I'm also endlessly curious about where design is heading.

The tools are changing quickly, and I'm genuinely excited by that. I use technology to make parts of my process smarter and to push my thinking further - but I don't outsource the thinking itself.

I still sketch. I research. I question. I experiment. I step away from the screen. I make art. I follow an idea down a rabbit hole because sometimes that's where the interesting answer is hiding.

The tools can change, but the thinking is still mine.

And I think that matters more than ever.
