EDUCATION

Logo Design, Branding Suites and Promotional Collateral

Another year, another Open Day! The secondary school market is highly competitive and the common marketing tool that all schools “must do” is hold an Open Day.

Grace Lutheran College approached Secret Weapon Creative to help their Open Day stand out from the pack.

Working closely with the client, we were able to design a Passport concept that would see the visiting families tour the campus and collect ‘stamps’ along the way. (Stamps could be collected at key College showcase facilities.) When the visitors completed the tour, they were able to show their full passport to staff and go in the draw for a Uniform Shop voucher. This tactic allowed the College to follow up with all visitors, as online website registration was not in place at that time. This concept worked so well it was also run at the Caboolture Campus Open Day.

On a broader note, Secret Weapon Creative was also engaged to undertake the complete rebranding of Grace Lutheran College, an organisation that had fiercely protected its logo for more than 35 years. Working with the College Council over numerous, we were able to finalise a design that was approved by all stakeholders in the community. This evolved into a large scale roll out of the brand on every College item from uniforms through to building signage.

“I love working with Bree McDonald at Secret Weapon Creative. Her creativity and enthusiasm for design is evident in every piece of artwork created - whether it be a simple flyer, a campaign involving numerous of collateral or a complex branding project. Bree is able to take my simple brief and produce exactly what is required.” ~ Taryn Thomas, Genesis Christian College Marketing Manager
